Healthy Homemade Dry Fruits Laddu- A Perfect Winter Energy Booster

Dry Fruits Laddu – A Warmth And Delightful Treat to You And Your Family. These laddus are delicious and great for relieving back pain, sharpening your mind, and keeping your immune system strong.

DRY FRUITS LADDU

Dry Fruit Laddus are incredibly easy to make, requiring no complex cooking techniques. They’re a powerhouse of essential vitamins, minerals, and healthy fats, making them a great option for guilt-free indulgence. These energy-packed laddus are made with a mix of nutrient-rich nuts like almonds, cashews, and pistachios, along with the natural sweetness of dates and figs. They are flavored with a hint of cardamom and ghee to create a burst of irresistible taste in every bite.

I’m sharing this recipe because this is the right time, and the weather is getting cold and snowy. These laddus offer you strength and make you feel warm.

My mumma loves preparing these laddus as she gave her all love and affection while making this for us. She always makes these during the winter season because they are full of nutrients, and loaded with lots of Dry Fruits, which improve memory, strengthen your bones, and keep you warm.

These Laddus are my favorite and healthiest snacks during these wintry days, I love eating them, and whenever I feel hungry, I always crave something tasty yet healthy. Eating these laddus makes my day energetic. 

Read the steps below and start making them for your family .

Ingredients(15-21 Pcs):

  • 250 Gm Dates Paste 
  • 100 Gm Coconut
  • 100gm Raisins
  • 100 Gm Cashew Nuts
  • 100 Gm Almonds
  • 50 Gm Pistachio(Unsalted)
  • 50 Gm Poppy Seeds( Optional)
  • 100 Gm Desi Ghee
  • 1 Tbsp Green Cardamom Powder( Optional)

Preparation Time:

  • 20-30 Min

Step By Step Instruction Of Dry Fruits Laddu:

Step 1: Roasting the nuts:

  1. Heat the pan, add lil-lil Ghee as much as you want, dry roast the desiccated Coconut for 3-4 minutes then transfer it to a bowl.
  2. Similarly, roast almonds, cashews, raisins, pistachio, and poppy seeds, separately for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Roasting makes nuts crunchier and enhances the flavors. 
  4. Let them cool and crush them a little bit not like you just keep cruising them again and again.

Step 2: Cook the Dates:

  1. In the same pan, heat the ghee. add the dates paste and cook it on low flame until they become softy-softy.

Step 3: Mix-Mix-Mix:

  1. when dates completely become softer in texture, add all roasted nuts, and green cardamom powder to the pan.
  2. Mix everything well, so that all the ingredients are stick together with full of love.

Step 4: Round-round the Laddus

  1. Let them cool down for 2-3 min- grease your palms with ghee and make laddu into a small round shape.

Step 5: Serving

  1. serve it to your loved ones and enjoy.

Tips:

  • Eat during mid-morning or as evening snacks. avoid eating them late night as it may disrupt your digestion.
  • Eat 1-2 pieces a day to boost stamina.
  • Store them in an airtight container for a longer shelf life.
  • It can be kept for 15-20 days during the winter season.
  • Don’t overcook nuts, keep the flame low while roasting them.
  • Use good-quality and fresh dry fruits.

Life Lesson: The Round- Round Shape Of Laddu reminds me of endless loop where we often find ourselves stuck in, just like we need to break the laddu to enjoy its taste. Similarly to enjoy, and live life happily , we need to step out from these loops.
